Cosmewax completes FDA Registration under the MoCRA cosmetics regulation<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\nThe Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA cosmetics) is the first major update to the FDA\u2019s authority over cosmetic products since the 1930s<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

In December 2023, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA<\/a>) issued final guidance on cosmetic product listing and facility registration. The document aims to help the cosmetics industry understand the new MoCRA cosmetics registration requirements and comply with them.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The FDA informed the industry that they will not enforce the registration requirements until July 1, 2024. However, Cosmewax has already completed the requirements:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The process has been the following:<\/p>\n

1. Registration of Cosmewax as a company (Facility<\/strong>). We have registered our two manufacturing sites and it must be renewed every two years.<\/p>\n

2. Register our clients in the United States along with the categories of products<\/strong> we manufacture for them.<\/p>\n

3. Product Listing<\/strong>: The last step, is carried out once Cosmewax has completed the two previous steps.<\/p>\n
